John I. Mott, age 90, of Harrisburg, IL. passed away January 23, 2009 at his home. He was a Spar Miner for most of his life.
John is survived by his Wife: Valdene (Love) Mott – Harrisburg, IL.; Son: John G. Mott – Harrisburg, IL.; Step-Sons: Greg Love – Rosiclare, IL., Larry Hall – RR Elizabethtown, IL.; Daughter: Rosella Wootton – Harrisburg, IL.; Step-Daughters: Barb Kesler – Carterville, IL., Judy Alvey – Rosiclare, IL., Brenda Murphy – Rosiclare, IL.; Sister: Eula Mae Ledbetter – Rosiclare, IL.; Brother: Woodrow Mott – RR Elizabethtown, IL.; 3 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.
John is preceded in death by his Parents: Wiley & Nellie (Banks) Mott; Sisters: Verbia Mott, Beulah Mott, Geneva Ralph, Wanda Flynn; Brother: Tommy Mott; and Son: James Larry Mott.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, January 25, 2009 at Hosick Funeral Home in Rosiclare, IL. Interment will follow at I.O.O.F. Empire Cemetery in Elizabethtown, IL. With officiating clergy: Rev. Ed Lafferty.
Visitation is scheduled from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, January 25, 2009 at Hosick Funeral Home in Rosiclare, IL.
