John William Chappell

John William Chappell, 78, of Fredonia, Kentucky died Sunday at his home in Fredonia. He was a member of St. William Catholic Church in Marion, KY and had worked in real estate and as an auctioneer since 1979.

Surviving is his wife, Zelma Chappell of Fredonia, KY; sons, John H. Chappell of Evansville, IN, Thomas S. Chappell of Marion, KY, Andrew P. Keister of Marion, KY and Adam L. Keister of Evansville, IN; daughters, Vickie Solis and Paula Chappell both of Evansville, IN; brother, Jerry L. Chappell of Tennessee; 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Edward and G. Ilene Chappell.

Services are scheduled for 11 AM Tuesday February 25, 2014 at St. William Catholic Church with interment in St. William Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 PM Monday at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY.
