Mr. Jimmy Dean Lampert

Jimmy Dean Lampert, 71, of Herod, IL., passed away on Friday April 14, 2017 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. He was born on August 20, 1945 in Cave In Rock, IL. to James Lampert and Melva Palmer Lampert. Mr. Lampert owned and operated Jimmy Deans Market Place in Eldorado, IL. for many years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and American Bowling Congress.
He is survived by his sister: Joyce Cullison of Rosiclare, IL.; Nephew: Tony Cullison; Nephew: Mike and Rita Cullison; Nephew: Junior and Kelly Voggess; Niece: Julie and Jimmy Atkinson; Brother In Law: Sonny Voggess; and very special friend: Julia McGowen.
He was preceded in death by his Parents: James and Melva Lampert; Sister: Sharon Voggess; and Niece: Faye and Robert Debose.
Hardin County Funeral Services, Rose Gilbert Funeral Home, is in charge arrangements. Funeral services have been scheduled for Tuesday April 18, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The family will receive visitors from 11:00 A.M. till funeral time. Burial will follow at Cave Hill Cemetery. Rev. Arthur Austin Jr. will officiate the services.
