Jewell I. Melcher, 88, of Pope County, IL died Tuesday at Hardin County Hospital in Rosiclare, IL.
Surviving are her daughter, Shelly English of Golconda, IL; 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Shelby Odell Curnel, Cyril V. Smith and William H. Melcher; children, Wanda Helen Curnel, Michael Duane Smith and Jessie Marie Smith; parents, Fred and Lora Braden and 2 brothers.
Services are scheduled for 1 PM Friday at Cox Funeral Home in Rosiclare, IL with interment in Fluorine Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 11 AM until service time Friday at the funeral home.
