Mr. Jewel "C Bud" Sims Jr.

Jewel C. “C Bud” Sims Jr., 83, of Cave In Rock, IL. passed away at his residence on September 29, 2013 surrounded by his family. He was born on August 14, 1930 to Jewel C. Sims Sr. and Maude Karner Sims at Eldorado, IL. He was a Marine in the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife: Mildred Sims; Dau: Debora & Steve Wheeler; Dau: Rose Mary & Dewey Davenport; Dau: Beverly Jo & Sam Sandefur; Son: David & Mabyn Sims; 17 Grandchildren; 23 Great Grandchildren; Bro: Glendal Eugene & Sara Sims; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Parents; Son: Mark Sims; Sisters: Ruby, Mildred, & Reba; Great granddaughter: Zoie Mathews.

Hardin County Funeral Services, Rose-Gilbert Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Tuesday October 1, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Potters Church in Cave In Rock, IL. Funeral services will be Wednesday October 2, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at Potters Church. Burial will follow at Cave Hill Cemetery in Cave In Rock, IL. Rev. Larry Lewis and Rev. Arthur Austin Jr. will officiate. The American Legion will conduct graveside military honors.
