Jerold Kessler McDowell, 89, of New Port Richey, Fl. passed away peacefully in his home on September 18, 2017. He was born in Cave-In-Rock, IL on July 17, 1928.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Patricia(Oxford) McDowell; brother: James (Jewell) McDowell of Howell, MI.; sister: Nina Elodee (Dee) McDowell of New Port Richey, Fl.; son: Jay (Janet) McDowell of Ashburn, Virginia; step-son: Jay Paul (Tammy) White of Grover City, Ohio; 2 grandchildren, 1 step grandchild and numerous nephews and nieces.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Fredrick and Myrtle (Connelly) McDowell; brother: Fredrick L. C. McDowell; Brother: Vernon McDowell; and his first wife.
Hardin County Funeral Service is overseeing arrangements. Graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Cave Hill Cemetery in Cave In Rock, Illinois.
