J.D. Hackney, 71, of Marion, KY died Friday at his home in Marion, KY. He was a faithful viewer of Shepards Chapel Christian Television.
Surviving are his sons Johnny (Karla) Hackney and James (Selena) Hackney of Marion, KY and Danny Hodge of Louisville, KY; daughters, Kathy (Tom) Fox of Utica, KY, Pam (Roy) Todd of Marion, KY, Linda (Scott) Campbell of Rineyville, KY and Julie (Chris) Crowdus of Morganfield, KY; sisters, Reba Riley of Burna, KY, Irene Lynch of St. Louis, MO, Gracie Stone, Betty Hunter and Phyllis Hodge all of Marion, KY; 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jimi Hackney; parents, Luther Dixon and Wilma Mae Hackney; 4 brothers and 1 sister.
Services are scheduled for 11 AM Tuesday at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY with interment in Whites Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 Monday at the funeral home.
