Jay "Jay Boat" Jackson, 78 of Elizabethtown, IL died Wednesday at his home.
Surviving are his wife, Dortha Jackson of Elizabethtown, IL; children, Roberta Davis of Louisville, KY and Alberta Irby of Metropolis, IL; 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Frank and Lora Jackson; 2 infant sons; 6 half brothers and 2 half sisters.
Services are scheduled for 1 PM Friday at Hosick Funeral Home with interment in Empire Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 10 AM until service time Friday at the funeral home.
