Janice Evelyn Oxford

Janice Evelyn Oxford, 77, of Elizabethtown, IL passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Rosiclare Rehab and Healthcare Center. She was born on May 1, 1940 to George and Nina (Riggs) Cronkrite. Janice was a County Bailiff for the Hardin County Sheriff’s Department.
She is survived by her Husband of 60 years: Vernon E. Oxford; Son: Thomas and Kelly Oxford; Grandson: Blake Oxford; Granddaughter: Natasha and Brennon Williams; Great-Grandchildren: Brevin and Blaze Oxford, Thomas Michael, Bentley, and Nicholas Williams, Gabe and Jaidan Fowler, and Nathanial Massie; Brother: Robert and Carol Cronkrite and Many Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
Janice is preceded in death by her Parents: George Cronkrite and Nina Austin; Stepfather: Roy Austin; Granddaughter: Ashley Nichole Oxford; Brother: Bill and Gay Cronkrite; Sister: Winnie and Lenard Daymon and Sister: Betty Richardson

Hardin County Funeral Service, Cox Funeral Home will oversee the arrangements. Service will be held Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Cox Funeral Home in Rosiclare, IL. Family will receive visitors from 10:00 am till 2:00 pm. Burial will be at Peters Creek Cemetery. Officiating the service will be Rev. Greg Degrave. In lieu of flower donation can be made to Peters Creek Cemetery.
