Jane Stunson, 82, of Elizabethtown, IL passed peacefully Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Rosiclare Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Elizabethtown, IL and former owner and bookkeeper of Fairview House Nursing Home.
Survivors include her children, Michael (Rhonda) Belford of Rosiclare, IL, Jimmy (Marge) Stunson, Jeff (Christy) Stunson, and Mark Stunson all of Elizabethtown, IL; daughter-in-law, Gayle Belford of Rosiclare, IL; grandchildren, James Stunson, Kasi Joyner, Mackenzie Lowery, Janet Cohorst, Jessi Stunson, Jana Cowgill, Jerod Belford and Britt Belford; great-grandchildren, Knox and Scout Lowery, Adam and Eli Williams, Bella Kopman, Quinlee Cowgill and Brooklyn, Callie, Gavin and Jaxon Belford; life-long friend of nearly 83 years, Linda Hughes; and a host of nieces, nephews, church family, and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George W. Lewis and Muriel (Ramsey) Lewis; first husband, Randel “Jock” Belford; second husband, James C. “Jim” Stunson; son, Randel Keith Belford; and sister, Jackie Frailey.
Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 7, 2020 at the First Baptist Church of Elizabethtown, IL with interment in Fluorine Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. until service time at the church on Friday.
The family, as would Jane, understands if anyone feels uncomfortable attending the service during these unprecedented times and appreciates your love and prayers.
