James H. Young, 89, of Salem, KY died Saturday at Salem Springlake Health and Rehab. He was an Army Veteran and attended Salem Baptist Church.
Surviving are his children, Sheila Russell of Salem, KY and James Duane Young of Chandler,IN; siblings, JoAnne Long, June Norman, Richard Young, Sue Belt, Stanley Young, and Bonnie Penn all of Marion, KY and Terry Young and Connie Cowan both of Salem, KY; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
He was preceded by his wife, Alice Jean Young; parents, Johnie and Willie Bet Young and 4 sisters.
Graveside services are scheduled for 1 PM Tuesday at Mapleview Cemetery with interment to follow. The family will receive visitors from 12:30 PM until service time Tuesday.
