James O'Neal

James B. O'Neal, 76, of Marion, KY died Saturday at Livingston County Hospital. He was a member of Cave Springs General Baptist Church, Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict, Crittenden County Trial Commissioner, Commonwealth Insurance Agent for 33 years, Marion Police Dispatcher for 22 years and part time Marion Police Officer and Sheriff Deputy in the 1970's.

Surviving are 2 sons, Ray and Tony O'Neal both of Marion, KY; 2 daughters, Tammy Robertson of Marion, KY and Sue Fisk of Kirksey, KY; 3 brothers, Jackie O'Neal of Mayfield, KY, Phillip O'Neal of Orlando, FL and Walton O'Neal of South Fulton, TN; 2 sisters, Judy Chandler of Hackleburg, AL and Jetty Dixon of Clinton, KY; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Mae O'Neal; parents, Bunard and Bessie O'Neal; 1 brother and 1 sister.
Services are scheduled for 11 AM Tuesday at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY with interment in Freedom Cemtery. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 PM Monday at the funeral home. Military Rites will be given at the cemetery on Tuesday.
