Hilda Mae Alexander

Hilda Mae Woodall Alexander, 89, of Marion, Kentucky died April 14, 2013 at Crittenden County Health and Rehab. She was a member of Piney Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Hilda graduated from the Frances, Kentucky High School and was a long time employee of the Kroger Store in Marion, KY. She married Charles Alexander on January 19, 1947. She and Charles lived in the Piney Fork community and were devoted to their farm and church.

Surviving are two grandchildren, Jason Dansby and Tiffany (Ryan) Ledgerwood both of Madison, Alabama; one great granddaughter, Skye Ledgerwood of Madison, Alabama; sisters, Lois Woodall Miller of Henderson, KY and Louise Woodall Ball of Evansville, IN; son-in-law, Michael Berard; cousin, Clara Mae Belt of Marion, KY and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were his parents, Lessly and Alma Woodall; husband, Charles Alexander; daughters, Diana Berard and Debra Dansby; brother Wilbur Woodall and his wife, Bernice Woodall.

Services are scheduled for 1 PM Thursday at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY with interment in Piney Fork Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-7 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
