Henry Gene Fatheree

Henry Gene “Geno” Fatheree, 72, of Elizabethtown, Il. passed away peacefully on Monday, April 22, 2024, with his wife and family by his side. Gene taught school at Hardin County K-12 for 47 years. He was also a coach at Hardin County for 35 years and a school bus driver for 40 years. Gene had served as a school board member and was president of the school board in the past. 

Gene is survived by Wife, Brenda Fatheree Butts, Children, Jon (Candy) Fatheree, Michelle Barras, Gina Fatheree, Denise Butts, and Sheri (Nathan) Hungate, Grandchildren, Abram Hungate, Luke Fatheree, Chelsea (Brandon) Smith, Madison Barras, and Chance Hastings, and Sister, Frances (George) Herring.

He is preceded in death by his Parents, John and Mary Fatheree, Sister, Virginia Bumgarner, Nephew, Gary Bumgarner.
