Helen Daniel Davidson, 87, passed away on April 23, 2008, at the Livingston County Hospital. Although a native of Marion, for the past several years she had been a resident at the Salem Springlake Care Center.
Mrs. Davidson was the wife of the late Carson Davidson and the daughter of the late Mason and Hattie Daniel of Marion.
She was an insurance agent for 32 years with Small's Insurance Agency and a member of the Marion Christian Church. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Ellis B. Ordway Post 111. And, she was a gifted artist whose oil paintings won numerous awards.
Mrs. Davidson is survived by her son, Stephen, her daughter-in-law, Carlin, her sister, Pat Carter and husband Jim - all of Marion, KY. Also surviving are a grandson, Grant and wife Beth of Nashville and a granddaughter, Janean Tinsley and husband Allen of Paducah. She had two great grandchildren - Daniel Davidson of Nashville and Carson Tinsley of Paducah. Other survivors include nephews David Carter of Hopkinsville and Larry Carter of Marion, as well as great-nephews Scott Carter of Atlanta, Britt Carter of Marion and Mason Carter of Murray.
