Helen Springs, 99, of Marion, KY. died Monday June 5, 2017 at Crittenden Health Systems. She was Conservation Teacher Of The Year in 1977, member of Marion United Methodist Church, member of Crittenden County Hospital Auxiliary since the 1990's, former member of Veteran's Auxiliary and member of the Red Hat Society and Homemakers.
Survivors include her son, Jay (Judy) Silvernail of Phillips, Wisconsin; grandson, Jon (Ann) Silvernail of Jim Falls, Wisconsin; great grandson, Jaron Silvernail of Jim Falls, Wisconsin; step great grandchildren, Kylie and Kerena Gerrits both of Jim Falls, Wisconsin; great great grandchild, Zelda Gerrits of Jim Falls, Wisconsin; brother, Tommy (Evelyn) Carter of Marion, KY and sister-in-law, Pat Carter of Marion, KY.
She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Jack Silvernail; 2nd husband, Charles Springs; parents, Thomas and Ruth Carter; brother, Jimmy Carter and sister, Anna Ruth Revel.
Services are scheduled for 1 PM Saturday June 10, 2017 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY with interment in Mapleview Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 11 AM until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
