Harold Gray Fritts

Harold Gray Fritts, 82, of Marion, passed away on January 22, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday January 25, 2022, at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY with interment in Mapleview Cemetery. Pastor Jesse Thornton will be officiating. Visitation will be held at 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on January 24, 2022, at Gilbert Funeral Home. He was a member of Sugar Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Marion.
Harold was born on July 5, 1939, to Herbert and Ina Fritts in Marion, KY. He served in the United States Army before his career as a diesel mechanic. He spent most of his career at Watson’s Trucking before retiring from Trimac. He was a dedicated father and husband who enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, and driving through the countryside.
Harold is survived by his wife, Doris, of 63 years; his children, Barbara (Larry) Brown and Jeff (René) Fritts of Marion; his siblings Marie Rushing of Henderson and Arnie Fritts of Arizona; and grandchildren Cody Brown and Taylor Fritts. He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Ina Fritts; and his siblings Melvin Fritts, Jewell Chittenden, Doris Marvel, Edwina Cash, and Joe Fritts.
