Hansel Arthur Cook, 81, of Golconda, IL. passed away Sunday June 12, 2022, at Hardin County Hospital in Rosiclare, IL. Hansel was a member of Union Church.
Survivors include his sons; Arthur Wayne (Tammy) Cook, Mark Van (Terri) Cook, Jeffery Dean (Kathleen) Cook, and Jonathan Roy Cook, grandchildren; Shane Cook, Bradley Cook, Mathew Cook, Joshua Cook, Kaitlin Cook, and Jake Cook, great grandchildren Christopher Cook, Keldon Cook, and Chase Michael Szymanski, brother James Gordan Cook (Laverne Cook), sisters, Thelma Lucille Helmers (David Helmers), Alma Marie Hayes (Gene Hayes), and Wilma Faye Walker (Rick Walker), Donna R Cowsert partner of 12 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife Benita Cook, parents, Arthur and Juanita Cook, and grandson Cody Cook, Brother, Marion Cook.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 pm Friday, June 17, 2022, at Hardin County Funeral Service with burial following at Central Cemetery in Elizabethtown, IL. Friends may call Friday from 10:00 am until service time at the funeral home.
