Mr Guy Irvin Griffith

Guy Irvin Griffith, 87, of Elizabethtown, IL., passed away on Saturday April 7, 2018 at Hardin County General Hospital. He was a fluorspar miner and farmer in Hardin County his whole life. He was born on April 12, 1930 in Elizabethtown, IL., to Walter Griffith and Eva( Lotton) Griffith.
He is survived by a Daughter: Paula and Glenn Samford; Son: Gary Griffith; Daughter: Rita and John McKinley; Daughter: Jane Griffith; Daughter: Jean Davis; Grand Daughter: Eva-Rae and Damon Hall; Grand Daughter: Julie and Gary Roper; Grand Son: Dax and Michelle Samford; Grand Daughter: Rachel and Justin Kizziah; Grand Son: Walter and Traci Griffith; Grand Son: Calvin Griffith; and 10 Great Grand Children.
He was preceded in death by his Parents: Walter and Eva Griffith and a brother: Johnny Griffith.
Hardin County Funeral Services, Cox Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be on Tuesday April 10, 2018 at Cox Funeral Home from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Funeral services will be on Tuesday April 10, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Empire Cemetery.
