Glenn W. "Tater" Pennell, 91, of Cave-In-Rock, IL. died May 26, 2019 at Hardin County General Hospital. He was a member of Rock Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include his children, Tina (David) Orman of Cave-In-Rock, IL., James (Sandy) Pennell of Eldorado, IL., David (Linda) Pennell of Snowflake, AZ., Daryl (Gretchen) Pennell of Phoenix, AZ. and Danny (Carmen) Pennell of California; brothers, Roy Pennell of Elizabethtown, IL. and Troy Pennell of Cave-In-Rock, IL.; sisters, Cleo Bucklew of Vienna, IL., Marlene Dutton of Metropolis, IL. and Bonnie Rose of Cave-In-Rock, IL. and several grand and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Pennell; parents, Ernest Franklin and Zelpha Pennell; infant son, Moses Pennell and brother, Jarg Pennell.
Services are scheduled for 11 AM Thursday May 30, 2019 at Hardin County Funeral Service (Cox Chapel) in Rosiclare, IL. with interment in Cave Hill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to Cave Hill Cemetery.
