Glen R. "Hambone" Oxford

Glen R. "Hambone" Oxford, 96, of Elizabethtown, IL passed away September 28, 2024 at Hardin County General Hospital.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Gross Oxford of Elizabethtown, IL; daughters, Christy (Jeff) Stunson of Elizabethtown, IL and Dixie Oxford of San Diego, CA; grandchildren, Kasi Stunson and Mackenzie (Jim) Lowery and great grandchildren, Scout and Knox Lowery.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. S.E. and Edna Oxford and brother, Lowell Oxford.

Memorial services are scheduled for 3 PM Friday October 4, 2024 at Hardin County Funeral Service in Rosiclare, IL. The family will receive visitors from 1 PM until service time Friday at the funeral home.

Donations may be made to Cave Hill Cemetery or Cave-In-Rock Methodist Church.
