Gerald Deneen Lewis, Sr.

Rev. Gerald Deneen Lewis, Sr., 87, of Clarksville, TN formerly of Cave-In-Rock, IL died Monday in Clarksville, TN. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and Member of Masonic Lodge No. 444 in Cave-In-Rock, IL and an Army Veteran of WWII and retired minister.
Surviving are his wife, Marie Lewis of Clarksville, TN; son, Gerald Deneen Lewis, Jr. of Clarksville, TN; brothers, Rev. Larry Lewis of Junction, IL, Lonnie and Virgil "Dink" Lewis of Cave-In-Rock, IL; sisters, Gladys Douglas and June McDowell of Cave-In-Rock, IL; 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Lucille Lewis; parents Joseph and Cleta Lewis, Sr. and 1 brother.
Services are scheduled for 1 PM Wednesday at Potters Church in Cave-In-Rock, IL with interment in Cave Hill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6-9 PM Tuesday at the church.
