Gerald W. "Jerry" Holsapple

Gerald W. (Jerry) Holsapple, 84, of Crescent City, FL passed away on his birthday, May 27, 2021. Jerry was born in Mexico, KY to the late Jim and Lily Mae Holsapple. He was a smart, avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. Jerry was able to accomplish whatever he wanted in life and was very close to his son who he was deeply devoted to.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Parker Holsapple.
Survivors include his beloved son, Bill Holsapple of Pomona Park, FL; sister, Eloise Truitt of Northern Indiana and long time companion, Charlotte Thompson of Crescent City, FL.
Graveside services will be held at Noon Saturday June 5, 2021 at Mexico Cemetery.
Military Rites will be held at the cemetery.
Gilbert Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
