Gary D. Littrell, 71, of Green River, Wyoming, passed away on Thursday June 8, 2017 at 10:58 A.M. at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. He was born on February 28, 1946 to Novella Lorene Douglas in Cave In Rock, IL. He was an Army veteran having served in Vietnam and a retired trona miner.
He is survived by his Wife: Birdie Littrell of Green River, Wyoming; Daughter: Tahnee L. Littrell of Cave in Rock, IL.; Son: Mike and Tammy Register; Son: Frank and Tracy Register; Grand Daughter: Kyren and Dalton Vinyard; Grand Son: Mat and Sarah Register; Grand Son: Tobey and Chris Zicopula; Grand Daughter: Veronica Register and Mike; Grand Daughter: Cherish and Conall Ravenscraft; Grand Daughter: Noel Register and Aaron; Great Grand Children: Robert Deneen Vinyard and Rowyn Grace Register; Brother: Virgil La Don and Mildred Littrell; Sisters: Brenda Birch, Jan Angel, and Pat Poloette; and his beloved cat, D.D.
He was preceded in death by his Mother: Novella Lorene Douglas Littrell; and Brothers Bill and Glendon Littrell
Hardin County Funeral Services, Cox Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements. As per family wishes, Mr. Littrell has been cremated. A memorial service will be held on Sunday June 11, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Potters Church in Cave in Rock, IL. Military Honors will be conducted by Post 571.
