Mr. Elvis Anderson

Elvis Anderson, 76, of rural Elizabethtown, IL., passed away at his home on December 21, 2017. He was born in Harrisburg, IL. to James Floyd Anderson and Mymbel Olena (Evans) Anderson. He was a retired superintendent for the Louisiana Dock Company, member of Bethany Church, and a longtime member of the Good Sam Camping Club.
He is survived by his Wife: Joyce (Scott) Anderson; Daughter: Karen Joy Anderson; Daughter: Stacy Lee and Tim Grose; Adopted son: Terry Scott and Nicole Anderson; Great Grand Child: Jaylynn Nichole Anderson; 9 Grand children; 5 Great Grand children; 3 Sisters: Joanne and Jim Johns, June Richie, and Liz and Gene McClusky; Many Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
He was preceded in death by his Parents: James and Mymbel Anderson; Son: Daren Troy Anderson; Daughters: Carri Marie and Terri Lee Anderson; 1 great grand child; Brothers: Jame “Jonny” Anderson and Robert Charles Anderson; Sisters: Ruby Kessel and Betty Horning.
Hardin County Funeral Services, Cox Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements. As per family wishes, Mr. Anderson will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
