Elbert Vaughn, 83, of Herod, IL died Thursday at Hardin County Hospital in Rosiclare, IL. He was a member of Cave-in-Rock Masonic Lodge No. 444.
Surviving is his wife, Loeva Vaughn of Herod, IL; son, Gary Vaughn of Harrisburg, IL; grandchildren, Ryan Vaughn of Elizabethtown, IL and Brandon Vaughn of Golconda, IL; great grandchild, Raegan Vaughn of Elizabethtown, IL; brothers, Wendell Vaughn of Mitcellville, IL and Donald Vaughn of Herod, IL; sisters, Eula Mae Frailey of Cave-in-Rock, IL and Wilma Jean Grant of Peoria, IL.
He was preceded by his parents, Owen and Minnie Vaughn; sister, Mildred Pennell and brother, James Vaughn.
Services are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday at Cox Funeral Home in Rosiclare, IL with interment in Lavender Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from Noon until service time Sunday at Cox Funeral Home.
