Eileen Rose

Eileen Rose, 90, of Harrisburg, IL. former resident of Cave-In-Rock, IL. passed away on July 24, 2017 at Villas of Holly Brook. Eileen was born on November 23, 1926 to Clifford Joyce and Leta Smith. She worked at the funeral home in Cave in Rock for many years. She was also a member of Mt. Zion General Baptist Church.
She is survived her Sons: Clifford Rose of Harrisburg, IL., Tom Rose of Cave-In-Rock, Il., Lowell Rose of Mt. Vernon, IL., Eddie Rose of Harrisburg, IL.; 7 Grandchildren; 17 Great-Grandchildren; and 1 Great-Great-Grandchild.
Eileen is preceded in death by her Husband: Rev. James Harley Rose; Brother: Clifton Joyce; and her Parents: Clifford Joyce and Leta Smith Joyce.
Services for Eileen Rose will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Rose Gilbert Funeral Home in Cave-In-Rock, IL. Family will receive visitors from 11:00 am till time of service. Interment will at Cave Hill Cemetery. Rev Stan Pennell and Rev. Jr. Austin will Officiate. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to ST. Jude's.
