Edna Laverne Garner

Edna Laverne Garner, 87, of Nason, IL. formerly of Hardin County, passed away at her residence on April 13, 2012 at 1:00 A.M. She was born in Eldorado, IL. on October 20, 1924 to the late Sam Burton and Elsie Pyles Burton.
She is survived by Dau: Dorothy & Ray Pierce of Benton, IL.; Dau: Belinda Garner of Huron, TN.; Dau: Norma & Terry Hays of Nason, IL.; Son: Terry & Agnes Garner of Huron, TN.; Son: Clothel Garner of Huron, TN.; Son Charles Garner of Huron, TN.; Son: Cloise Garner of Chicago, IL., 16 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband: Clois Garner; Dau: Wanda Stewart; Dau: Dorenda Cupples; Son: Jesse Garner; Son: Daniel Garner; 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
Hardin County Funeral Services, Cox Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Monday April 16, 2012 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday April 17, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Lavender Cemetery. The Rev. Chuck Smith will officiate.
