Doyle C. Jennings

Doyle C. Jennings, 83, of Tucson AZ, formally of Marion, Ky. and Crete, Ill. passed away peacefully August 14, 2020 at home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Jennings and Corine (Watson) York and stepfather Robert York and his sister Regina Woodall.

Doyle is survived by his wife, Naoma (Hodge) Jennings of 64 years. Also, his son, Doug Jennings (Belen) of Tucson AZ and his daughter, Pamela Jennings Banicki (late Andrew Banicki) of St. John Ind.

Six grandchildren, Grace, James & Gabrielle Jennings all of Tucson AZ and Greg (Erin), Shaun (fiancé Samantha Krejnik), Zack Banicki (Katie Lane) all from Chicago, IL and great grandchild, Alani of Tucson, AZ; sisters, Rose Clark and Donna Minton of Marion, KY and Sandy Newell of Madisonville, KY. He was a loving uncle to several nieces & nephews.

Doyle retired from the US Army Corps of Engineers/Rock Island IL district on November 24th, 1993 – Lock Master at Thomas J. O’Brien Lock and Dam after 38 years of service.

Memorial services will be held at 1 PM Saturday September 19, 2020 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY. The family will receive visitors from 11 AM until service time at the funeral home.
