Dortha Mae Jackson, 93, of Golconda, IL passed away September 18, 2024 at Southgate Nursing and Rehab in Metropolis, IL.Survivors include her daughters, Alberta Irby of Metropolis, IL and Roberta (Rev. Wesley) Davis of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Billy Irby and Kimberly Fairchild; great grandchildren, Allyson Fairchild, Dylan Fairchild and Brianna Bennett; brothers, James and John Cummins and sisters, Kaye Brooks and Donna Turner.She was preceded in death by her husband, Jay Jackson; parents, Ruey and Florence Cummins and 2 infant sons.Services are scheduled for 1 PM Sunday September 22, 2024 at Hardin County Funeral Service in Rosiclare, IL with interment in Empire Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 11 AM until service time Sunday at the funeral home.
