Mr. Donnie Ray Clark

October 2, 1946 — July 4, 2012

Donnie Ray Clark, son of Homer Guy Clark and Mary Elizabeth (Betsey) Clark, entered this life on October 2, 1946 and departed on July 4, 2012 being 65 years 9 months and 2 days of age. Donnie was preceded in death by his parents: Homer and Mary; one brother: Bennett Clark; 2 Sisters: Ilene Clark and Linda Price.
Donnie was a factory worker and a miner. He received a spinal cord injury whi...le working the mines in 1970. Donnie worked very hard and was a good provider for his family. Even after his injury no task stopped him. Donnie was a very proud man and overcame many obsticles in his life, without complaints. He lived his life as though there was nothing he could not do and was an inspiration to all. He never saw a mountain he didn't try to climb. He had a big heart. He would give the shirt off his back to some one in need.
As our Nation celebrated it's freedom on July 4th, Donnie celebrated his freedon from his physical body. He is now with Jesus. No more surguries. No more pain. He can see his mother. He told his sister mary Anna he was tired and wanted to see his mom. Mary told hime " if you want to go see mom, then go Donnie ". Mary and Donnie had a very close bond and relationship. Mary was Donnies rock, advisor, and best friend.
Donnie Leaves to mourn his passing; four Daughters, Rene & Steven Reshkus, Louisa & Austin Belt, Charmon Banks, and Christina & Darin Davis. Three sisters; Mary & Henry McGhee, Sharon & Clark Wallace, and Helen & Benny Orman. 8 Grand Children, 7 Great Grand Children, several neices, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Donnie will be missed by all.
