Donald Wayne Turner, 79. of Elizabethtown, IL died Tuesday at Hardin County Hospital in Rosiclare, IL. He was a member of Rosiclare First Baptist Church, retired from the U.S. Air Force, retired from Ozark Mahoney and a member of the Golconda, IL VFW.
Surviving is his wife, Lorene Turner of Elizabethtown, IL; daughters, Lynn Gibbs and Brenda Butts both of Elizabethtown, IL; son, Russell Turner of Dallas, TX; sister, Sharon Beale of Scottsdale, AZ; 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Pearl Tuner and 3 brothers.
Services are scheduled for 11 AM Friday July 17, 2015 at Cox Funeral Home in Rosiclare, IL with interment in Empire Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
Military rites will be held at the cemetery on Friday.
