Donald Wayne Perry

Donald Wayne Perry, 73, of Marion, KY passed away March 2, 2025 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY. He was retired from the Marion Police Department as well as the Crittenden County Sheriff's Department. In addition, he worked for Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY as a licensed funeral director and with the Crittenden County Coroner's office.

Don was born in Lake Charles, LA to James Elmer and Doris Fay Musgrove Perry.

Survivors include his children, Athena Marie (Justin) Hayes of Marion, KY, Donald Earl (Anna) Perry of Marion, KY and Dustin Cole Perry of Henderson, KY; grandchildren, Catherine (Michael) Kinser, Davis Lynn Abshire III, Lily Perry, Olivia Perry and Caleb Hayes; great grandson, Colton Kinser; brother, James Eugene (Carol) Perry of Marion, KY; niece, Brandy Perry Hyde and nephew, Kenny Perry.

In addition, to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Perry Ort.

Services are scheduled for 1 PM Saturday March 8, 2025 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY with interment in Asbridge Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 PM Friday March 7, 2025and from 9 AM until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
