David Michael Humphrey, 69, of Elizabethtown, IL. passed away on May 21, 2014 at 10:15 A.M. He was born on May 5, 1945 in Evansville, IN. to Jonas Humphrey and Nell B. Healy Humphrey. Mr. Humphrey was the Hardin County Treasurer from 1974 to 1998.
He is survived by a Brother: Joe Humphrey; Nephew: Joseph Timothy and Jennifer Humphrey; Nephew: Robert Dean Humphrey; Niece: Margaret JoAnn Humphrey.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Jonas and Nell Humphrey
Hardin County Funeral Services, Cox Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements. As per his wishes, Mr. Humphrey has been cremated. A memorial services will be held at a later date.
