David Marion Gilliam

David M. Gilliam, 75, of Rosiclare, IL passed away November 27, 2023 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Evansville, IN.

He leaves behind his wife of 25 years, Debra; stepsons, Jonathan (Nita) Tolbert of Elizabethtown, IL and John Ross of Pittsburgh, IL; stepdaughter, Stephanie Jackson and friend Cody Conkle; grandsons, Dylan and Derek Rider and Troy, Monty and Nick Tolbert; brothers-in-law, James Lindsay, Sr and Larry (Tina) Partain of Aledo, IL; nephew, Eric (Jewel) Shelton of St. Paul, MN; niece, Leanne (Frank) Bryant of Toston, MT; nephew, James Lindsay, Jr and fiance, Elizabeth Feuquay of Grayville, IL; niece, April Lindsay and her son, Kaden Lindsay as well as her fiance, Jeff Brown of Perryville, MO and best friends, Earl and Susan Edwards of Elizabethtown, IL and Gordon and Nancy Motsinger of Crab Orchard, IL.

David's pastimes were NASCAR, baseball, football and reading.  He attended church at Honeycomb Church of God where he enjoyed the band and songs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Deloris Gilliam; sister, Alice Shelton and brother-in-law, Lloyd Shelton.

Services are scheduled for 2 PM Tuesday December 5, 2023 at Hardin County Funeral Service in Rosiclare, IL. The family will receive visitors from 11 AM until service time at the funeral home. Rev. Harold Miller will be officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
