Danny Cowsert

Danny Deneen Cowsert, 76, of Rosiclare, IL died July 24, 2022 at Hardin County General Hospital in Rosiclare, IL with his children by his side. He was a United States Army Veteran and member of Bethany General Baptist Church.
Survivors include his children, Lisa (Tommy) Dutton of Paducah, KY , Wesley (Jill) Cowsert of Cave-In-Rock, IL, and Sheila (Tim) Wallace of Mt. Vernon, IA; brother, Glenn Cowsert; sisters, Creda Hubbard, Bernice Horton and Dema Flynn; grandchildren, Adrian Riley, Tanner Dutton, Colten Cowsert, Conrad Cowsert, Olivia Matthews, Chelsea Wallace and Kayla Wallace and 12 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Brenda Cowsert; parents, Daniel and Meredith Cowsert; brothers, Noel, Bruce and Deward Cowsert and sister, Artene Herrin.
Danny was a man of strong faith and he enjoyed spending time with his family. Some of his favorite moments were spent fishing, hunting and gardening. He also enjoyed riding to the river on his golf cart. Danny enjoyed spending time with his special friend, Peggy Hancock.
Memorial services are scheduled for 1 PM Friday July 29, 2022 at Bethany General Baptist Church. The family will receive visitors from 11 AM until service time Friday at the church.
