Dadie Marie Guess Orr Belt, 92, of Marion, KY passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at the home of her son, surrounded by family.
She was born February 2, 1921 in Crittenden County to Northern A. "Jack" and Melba Guess.
She was a clerk at Red Front and Sureway in Marion, KY and a Tupperware dealer for many years. She belonged to Marion Baptist Church for over 50 years and was a 50 year member of the Order Of The Eastern Star Chapter 135 and a member of the White Shrine of Marion, KY.
She is survived by her son, Donald (Pam) Orr of Marion, KY; daughters, Patty K. (Tony) Collins of Marion, KY and Sharon (Ronnie) Riley of Marion, KY; grandchildren, Stuart (Pam) Collins, Shannon (Denis) Hodge, Tiffany (Kevin) Floyd, Theresa (Sam) Epperson, Denise (Eddie) Lynn, Jared (Misty) Riley, Joshua (Michelle) Orr and Shawna (Philip) Sharp; 14 great grandchildren; 2 step daughters, Sandra Joe Valade and Carolyn Sue Driver; 3 step grandchildren and several step great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her 1st husband of 21 years, Leman Orr; 2nd husband of 21 years, Morris O. Belt; parents; 2 brothers, Rudolph Allen and Robert B. "Jackie" Guess and great grandson, Jake Hodge.
Services are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday August 25, 2013 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY with interment in Mapleview Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
