Cyrus McConnell, Jr.

Cyrus McConnell, Jr, 100, of Millbrook, Alabama, formerly of Hardin County, Illinois, passed away August 25, 2024 at Prattville Baptist Hospital. He was a Retired Veteran of the United States Navy.

Survivors include his daughters, Judy Kennedy, Kathy Suzanne McConnell and Maxine June McConnell; grandson, Christopher (Rachel) Kennedy and 2 step great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonita Kathlene McConnell; son, Jerry McConnell; grandson, Gregory Bartley; brother, Leroy McConnell and son-in-law, Ray Kennedy.

Services are scheduled for 11 AM Thursday August 29, 2024 at Hardin County Funeral Service in Rosiclare, IL with interment in Cave Hill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 10 AM until service time at the funeral home.

Military Rites will be held at the cemetery on Thursday.
