Connie Jean Walker, 81, of Central City, formerly of Marion, KY, died Monday at Muhlenerg Community Hospital. She was a member of Marion Baptist Church and Eastern Star.
Surviving is her son, Daryl Walker of Powderly, KY; sister, June Lockhart Curd of Corbin, KY; grandchildren, April Benningfield of Owensboro, KY, Darla Durall of Greenville, KY, Audrey Mercer of Greenville, KY and Charlie Walker of Bowling Green, KY; 6 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Randall Walker; daughter, Janice Highfil; granddaughter, Julie Beth Highfil; parents, Charles and Eva Mae Lockhart and 2 brothers.
Services are scheduled for 11 AM Thursday at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY with interment in Chapel Hill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to the Marion Baptist Church Family Life Center, 131 E. Depot St., Marion, KY 42064 or Prader Willi Foundation, 104 Hume Ave., Alexandria, VA 22301.
