Clyde David Cowsert, 74, of Metropolis, IL passed away December 30, 2024 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Center in Paducah, KY.

Survivors include his children, Chris (April) Cowsert of Bethpage, TN and Wendy Cowsert of Metropolis, IL; siblings, Gene (Faye) Cowsert, Carolyn (Charles) Lasater, Janice (Deon) Foster, James L. (Donna) Cowsert, Gary (Phyllis) Cowsert, Sandy Carr, Rose Cowsert and Pam (Dennis) Griffith; grandchildren, Dixie, Jewelia (Chris), Sierra, Jasmine (Zach) and Samuel; 6 great grandchildren, Wrenly, Lillie, Dawson, Kayden, Alex and Colton and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Regina Cowsert, parents, Clyde V. and Frances Jewel Ann Cowsert and brother-in-law Charle Carr.

Services are scheduled for 1 PM Saturday January 4, 2024 at Hardin County Funeral Service in Rosiclare, IL with interment in Cowsert Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 11 AM until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
