Mr. Clifton Darnell

Clifton Darnell, 75, of Cave In Rock, Il., passed away at his residence on Saturday July 4, 2015, surrounded by family. He was born in Crittenden County, KY, on November 2, 1939 to James Ellis Darnell and Virginia Katherine Coker Darnell. He was a member of the Union Local 318 and a member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife: Donna Darnell of Cave In Rock, IL.; Son: Freddy Darnell of Cave In Rock, IL.; Penny and Chester Holbrook of Elizabethtown, IL.; Grand Daughter: Jaime and Brad Walkins; Grand Daughter: Krissy and John Biggs; Grand Daughter: Dena and Justin Hastie; Grand Daughter: Carly Madison and Brody Hale; 9 Great Grand Children; Brother: James Connie Darnell of Smithland, Ky.
He was preceded in death by his Parents: James and Virginia Darnell.

Hardin County Funeral Services, Rose-Gilbert Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements. Funeral services will be on Monday July 6, 2015 at 5:00 P.M. at the Church of Christ. The family will receive visitors from 2:00 P.M. until service time. Bro. Justin Hastie will officiate the services. Burial will follow at Cave Hill Cemetery.
