Ms. Clara Mae (Clanton) Gordon

Clara Mae (Clanton) Gordon, 91, formerly of Hardin County, passed away on June 21, 2014 at the Odin Healthcare Center in Odin, IL. She was born on June 2, 1923 in the Rock Creek community of Hardin County to John R. Clanton and Gladys ( Dutton ) Clanton.
She is survived by her Daughter: Carolyn Henson of Sandoval, IL.; Son: Paulie Wayne Hobbs of Carthage, IL; Bro: Bill and Gladys Clanton of Aurora, N.C.; Bro: Joe Clanton of Elizabethtown, IL.; Bro: Dan Clanton of Edwardsville, IL.; Bro: David and Brenda Clanton of Elizabethtown, IL.; Sis: Martha and Bill Williams of Elizabethtown, IL.; 8 grand children; many great and great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her Husband: Robert Gordon; Parents: John and Gladys Clanton; Sisters: Tillie Oxford and Helen Hobbs; Brothers: Tom, Frank, and John; and great grandson: Kaeson Crue Crawford.
Hardin County Funeral Services, Rose-Gilbert Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Tuesday June 24, 2014 from noon until 2:00 P.M. at Rock Creek Church. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday June 24, 2014 at Rock Creek Church. Rev. Roy Baker and Danny Clanton will officiate the services. Burial will follow at Adams Cemetery.
