Chris was born on August 16, 1969 to Stella and Douglas Belt in Mattoon, Il. He was an Honorary Assistant Deputy Chief of the Elizabethtown Fire Department and a member of Cub Scout Pack 2982.
Chris is survived by his Father: Douglas J. (Joyce)Belt; Sister: Daphne Burton; Niece: Jessica Burton; Nephews: Patrick McDonald, J.R. Burton; 5 Great Nephews.
He is preceded in death by his Mother: Stella Belt; Maternal Grandparents: James and Helen Cubley; Paternal Grandparents: Freeman and Charline Belt.
Hardin County Funeral Service, Cox Chapel will oversee arrangements. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Cox Funeral Home. Service will be held on Monday December 11, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cubley Cemetery.
