Catherine Hurford

Catherine Hurford, 85, of Rosiclare, IL died Thursday at her home in Rosiclare. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Rosiclare.
Surviving are her daughters, Gayanne Byers of Rosiclare, IL, Stephanie Vaughn of Herod, IL and Jean Lynn Woolverton of Metropolis, IL; brothers, Larry, Donald and Arnold Barger all of Golconda, IL; sisters, Maxine Lunsford of Pekin, IL and Kathleen Whiteside of Texas; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Hurford; parents, Loren and Rowena Barger; brother, Gene Barger and sister, Mildred McCormick.
Services are scheduled for 11 AM Monday at Cox Funeral Home in Rosiclare, IL with interment in Fluorine Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
