Betty L. Goolsby, 83, of Rosiclare, IL. passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Hardin County General Hospital in Rosiclare, IL. Mrs. Goolsby was born on June 20, 1934 to Arnold Julius and Agnes Lucille (Bruce) Irby. She was a member of the First Apostolic Church of Rosiclare.
Mrs. Goolsby is survived by her Son: Rocky and Christina Goolsby of Elizabethtown, IL.; Grandchildren: Mackenzie Goolsby, Laura Goolsby Patterson, Eric Wilson, and Tammy Houser Belt; Brother: Julian Herman and Shirley Irby; Sister: Carlene and Don Eggemeyer; 5 Great-Grandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews.
She is preceded in death by her Husband: Lawrence Goolsby; Parents: Arnold and Agnus Lucille (Bruce) Irby; 2 Brothers: William (Bill) Phillip Irby and James Edward Irby; 3 Sisters: Toye Elizabeth Chapin, Doris Jeanine Creamer, and Brenda Janice Flynn.
Services are scheduled for 1 PM Monday July 17, 2017 at Hardin County Funeral Service, Cox Chapel, in Rosiclare, IL. with interment in Fluorine Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 11 AM Monday until service time at the funeral home.
