Betty Jo Ambrose

Betty Jo Ambrose, 82, of Marion, KY died April 11, 2022 at Princeton Nursing and Rehabilitation in Princeton, KY. She was born February 15, 1940 in Elizabethtown, KY. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Marion, KY and served the Lord in many churches in Western Kentucky alongside her late husband, Rev. Brodie Ambrose.
Survivors include her children, Marty (Stephen) Hill of Marion, KY and Marsha (Dwain) Hayes of Greenville, SC; grandchildren, Elise (Dustin) Cash, Ethan (Jessie) Hill and Noah Hayes and great grandchildren, Cate Cash, Morgan Gilkey, Easley Gilkey, Jaxton Hill and Jase Hill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Brodie Ambrose; parents, Harry Gardell and LaVerne Marsh and brother, Larry Gene Marsh.
Services are scheduled for 11 AM Friday, April 15, 2022 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY with Rev. Rex Jones officiating and burial to follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 PM Thursday and from 9 AM until service time Friday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
