Bertis Austin, 96, of Rosiclare IL, passed away Sunday, Feburary 7, 2021. Bertis served in the Pacific during WWII as a member of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his Son, Paul (Lisa) Austin of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Sara Austin of Indianapolis, IN, and Devin Austin of Evansville, IN; great grandchildren Brenna and Emma Dorsch of Indianapolis, IN. Survivors also include his sister-in-law Regina Austin and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lenora Austin; parents, Omar and Mary Austin; and his brother, Glen Austin.
Graveside services will be held at Noon Monday March 1, 2021 at Fluorine Cemetery in Rosiclare, IL. The family requests that in lieu of flowers please make donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
