Bert Bishop

Bert Bishop, 91, of Elizabethtown, IL. passed away Wednesday, February 25,2009 at Rosiclare Rhabilitation Center. He retired from the Navy, and was a retired teacher.
Mr. Bishop is survived by his children Sharon (Loyd) Wiesemann of Bloomington, IL. Lauren (Tom) Weidner of Eaton, IL. and Joanie Bishop of Murphysboro, IL; son, Don (Carla) Bishop of Carbondale IL.; 14 Grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. He was alson survived by 2 special friends Kim (Warden) Ormando Olivares of Naperville, IL. and Don Holbrook.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Vera Bishop; brothers, Bernie Bishop and Billy Bishop; sisters, Sibyl Yarborought and Bonnie Drake; and one grandson Andy Weidner.
Services are scheduled for 1 PM February 28, 2009 at Hosick Funeral Home is Rosiclare, IL. The family will receive visitors from 6-8PM February 27, at the funeral home.
