Gene Hubbard, 72, of Elizabethtown, Illinois passed away March 1, 2009 at Hardin County Hospital in Rosiclare, IL. He was a member of Levee Pond Pentocostal Church in Cave-In-Rock, IL. and a retired mechanic.
Surviving are his wife, Opal Irene Hubbard of Elizabethtown, IL; children, Tami Moore of Elizabethtown, IL, Terry Hubbard of Elizabethtown, IL, Larry Baker of Rosiclare, IL and Gary Baker of Eldorado, IL; sisters, Marcella Belt of Cave-in-Rock, IL and Christina Vinyard of Harrisburg, IL; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a son, Barry Weldon Hubbard; parents, Ott and Mina Hubbard; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Services are scheduled for 1 PM Wednesday at Cox Funeral Home in Rosiclare, IL with interment in Lavender Cemtery. The family will receive visitors from 11 AM until service time at the funeral home.
