Anna Mae Davis

Anna Mae Davis, 85, of Marion, , KY went home to be with the Lord on Saturday December 31, 2016 at Livingston Hospital and Healthcare, Inc. She was a member of Glendale General Baptist Church and worked for 20 years at Sturgis Clothing Factory where she made many lifelong friends. She and her family owned the 88 Dip in Marion for 10 years and she proudly worked at the voting polls for many years.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her greatest love in life was her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and she wasn't afraid to let it be known.

Preceding her in death was her husband of 56 years, Rev. J.W. Davis; parents, Nathan and Mae Brantley; 6 brothers and one sister.

Survivors include her children, JoAnna (Charlie) Merritt of Marion, KY, Doug (Paula) Davis of Henderson, KY, Mary (Richard) Mitchell of Paducah, KY, David (Jan) Davis of Smithland, KY and Keith (Chris) Davis of Marion, KY; grandchildren, Stacey McKinney, Bridget Terry, Chasity Clarke, Jeana Fulkenstein, Heather Johnson, Cartney Mitchell, Taylor Davis and Kayla Davis; great grandchildren, Lauren and Cole McKinney, Madison and Karlie Clarke, Aiden Fulkenstein, Clacie and Max Terry, Lucas, Heath and Landen Johnson.

Services are scheduled for 11 AM Wednesday January 4, 2017 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY with interment in Rosebud Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
